MashaAllah. Brother Idrees we would really you to upload full (detailed) courses on Maqamat. And also when teaching about more than one Maqamat in one video, it would really be helpful if you recite the same surah/Ayat for the different Maqams (both murattal and mujawad ) so as to differentiate better; so we can learn better.

[..YouTube..] @ArisJulius a question to think about: does every Muslim *really* need to know the name bayyati? Yes there is a place for learning/studying maqamat but this has to be with a balanced approach. When we recite we are reciting Quran not reciting maqamat, and when we listen we are listening to Quran not listening to maqamat.

Just for our brother’s knowledge, Sir. We should be able to broaden their insight. OK, I agree with you at some point, but, someday they’ll be realized that Qur’an can be recited in many different ways. At this point we try to support their future-curiosity.

Br. Idrees, this is a very good initiative that you have taken. keep it up! May Allah reward you for this with His infinite bounties.
also i would request you in the most humble manner to make mp3 format of the quran recited in the style you recited in this video. it is very simple yet so pleasing to listen.

[..YouTube..] Curiosity: I feel the that short vowels are being stretched so much that
they are very close to long vowels, such as “maan yaaqool” for “man
yaqool,” and “waal-laayl” for “wal-layl”, etc. Is this a difference within
tajweed styles?
